Our online Vetshop is a facility provided on our website to enable us to place orders for veterinary and animal related products from our on-site Vetshop once you have purchased it on our online Vetshop, and have it ready for you to collect or alternatively deliver it to the address specified by you during the purchasing process. If we don't have an item on our site, it may be because we carry the item in our on-site Vetshop but not in our online Vetshop. You are welcome to contact us in such event and we will check if we have stock of your requested item or whether this can be sourced for you if a non-standard stock item.
You may only use this website to browse the content, make legitimate purchases and shall not use this website for any other purposes, including without limitation, to make any speculative, false or fraudulent purchase. Rynfield Veterinary Hospital cannot be held liable for misuse of prescription products purchased on this site. Change these Conditions from time to time, and your continued use of the website (or any part of) following such change shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change. It is your responsibility to check regularly to determine whether the Conditions have been changed. If you do not agree to any change to the Conditions then you must immediately stop using the website.
We will use our reasonable endeavours to maintain the website. The website is subject to change from time to time. You will not be eligible for any compensation because you cannot use any part of the website or because of a failure, suspension or withdrawal of all or part of the website due to circumstances beyond our control.
When you click to make a purchase with us legal obligations arise and your right to a refund of monies charged to your credit card or paid in any other way agreed by us, is limited by our terms & conditions. You must not make any purchase through this site unless you understand and agree to all our terms and conditions. Once payment is made for the purchase, it is deemed that you have read and understood the terms and conditions for such purchase. If you have any queries please contact us before making any purchase for any service through this website. We are not responsible for delayed deliveries caused by suppliers or any delays caused by any problems which may arise due to the sourcing of goods. If delivery is made and you are not available at the address and/or your phone number is not working - resulting in the delivery being returned to us - the customer will be liable for delivery costs due to non-availability and will be required to collect the order from the veterinary practice's specified physical address. All risk in and to all goods shall pass to you on delivery thereof. You hereby confirm that the goods on the tax invoice issued duly represent the goods and services ordered by you at the prices agreed to by you and where delivery will take place that goods will be inspected and that you will ensure that these conform in all respects to the quality and quantity ordered and are free from any defects. Any delivery note (copy or original) signed by you or your authorised representative shall be prima facie proof that delivery was made to you. We will be entitled to split the delivery of the goods ordered in the quantities and on the dates we decide with your prior consent, which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld. In the event that you choose to engage your own third party to transport the goods, you indemnify us against any claims of any nature whatsoever that may arise from such an agreement. We will be entitled to engage a third party on our behalf to transport all goods purchased by you to the delivery address stipulated by you. We cannot guarantee that the goods will be dispatched or delivered on any particular date and time, you will have no claim against us in respect of any loss occasioned by any reasonable delay in dispatch or delivery of any goods ordered, nor may you cancel any order by reason of such reasonable delay.
Ownership in all goods sold and delivered shall remain vested in Rynfield Veterinary Hospital until the full purchase price has been paid.
Goods may be guaranteed under the manufacturer's product specific warranties only, and all other guarantees and warranties including common law guarantees and warranties in relation to goods are hereby specifically excluded by us. All guarantees are immediately null and void should any goods be tampered with or should the "seals" on the goods be broken by anyone other than us, or should the goods be applied outside the manufacturer's specifications. To be valid, guarantee claims must be supported by the original tax invoice and the goods must be in their original packaging and must be accompanied by all accessories and manuals which must be intact. All items must be returned in "as new" condition. No warranties whether express or implied shall apply, other than those provided in these terms and condition. We specifically disclaim the implied warranty of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. No representation or warranty, including but not limited to statements of capacity, suitability for use or performance made by our employees shall be considered to be a warranty by us. Any such statements made shall not give rise to any liability or whatsoever nature on our part, our employees, subcontractors or subsidiaries. We will not be liable to you for any loss, damage or expense of any nature, whether direct, special, indirect or consequential, including but not limited to loss of health arising out of our distribution's performance or your use of the goods. You indemnify and hold us (including our employees or subcontractors) harmless against all claims of whatsoever nature that may be brought or threatened against us by any third party arising from or in connection with any defect, latent or otherwise in any of the goods supplied by us.
All transactions will be processed in South African Rands (ZAR). Our online Vetshop is setup for "Offline Payment". You will be required to make payment by EFT before any online order will be made available for collection at our on-site Vetshop or for delivery to your chosen delivery address. Payment can be made by EFT or by Credit Card when collecting your order.
We currently only provide an "Offline Payment" option for purchases through our online Vetshop. Payment can be made by EFT on or before delivery or collection of your order. Payment can also be made by credit card at our on-site Vetshop when collecting your order through our normal POS system.
We have the right, but not the obligation, to monitor any activity and content associated with the website. We may investigate any reported violation of these Conditions or complaints and take any action that we deem appropriate (which may include, but is not limited to, issuing warnings, suspending, terminating or attaching conditions to your access and/or removing any materials from the website).
The Conditions will be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa whose Courts will have exclusive jurisdiction in any dispute, save that we have the right, at our sole discretion, to commence and pursue proceedings in alternative jurisdictions.

Our online Vetshop sells products to adults, who can purchase with a credit card. If you are under 18, you may use our online Vetshop only with involvement of a parent or guardian. We and our providers/affiliates reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in their sole discretion.
Except where noted otherwise, the List Price displayed for products on our website represents the full retail price listed on the product itself, suggested by the manufacturer or supplier, or estimated in accordance with standard industry practice; or the estimated retail value for a comparably featured item offered elsewhere. The List Price is a comparative price estimate and may or may not represent the prevailing price in our physical facility or for other providers of the same product in every area on any particular day. For certain items that are offered as a set, the List Price may represent "open-stock" prices, which means the aggregate of the manufacturer's estimated or suggested retail price for each of the items included in the set.
Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items in our catalog may be mispriced. If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before delivery or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.
Please note that this policy applies only to products sold and delivered through our online Vetshop. Your purchases are charged at the time you place your order.
Due to the popularity of some products or services, our suppliers may not always have products or service ordered by you in stock. We will accept orders for out of stock products or services to ensure that you will be the first to receive the item once it becomes available. If the products and services ordered by you are not available or only a portion is available, you may cancel the order, or re-order the quantity that is available, or place a backorder. Once the products or services become available, it will be delivered to you.
We reserve the right to cancel an order at any time.

Personal information is data that can be used to uniquely identify or contact a single person.
Here are some examples of the types of personal information Rynfield Veterinary Hospital may collect and how we may use it.
When you create an account with Rynfield Veterinary Hospital, apply for prescription products, purchase a product, or participate in an online survey, we may collect a variety of information, including your name, mailing address, phone number, email address, contact preferences, and credit card information.
When you invite others to join you on Rynfield Veterinary Hospital forums, Rynfield Veterinary Hospital may collect the information you provide about those people such as name, mailing address, email address, and phone number.
The personal information we collect allows us to keep you posted on Rynfield Veterinary Hospital's latest product announcements, updates, and upcoming events. It also helps us to improve our services, content, and advertising. If you don't want to be on our mailing list, you can opt out anytime by updating your preferences.
We also use personal information to help us develop, deliver, and improve our products, services, content, and advertising.
From time to time, we may use your personal information to send important notices, such as communications about purchases and changes to our terms, conditions, and policies. Because this information is important to your interaction with Rynfield Veterinary Hospital, you may not opt out of receiving these communications.
We may also use personal information for internal purposes such as auditing, data analysis, and research to improve Rynfield Veterinary Hospital's products, services, and customer communications.
We also collect non-personal information − data in a form that does not permit direct association with any specific individual. We may collect, use, transfer, and disclose non-personal information for any purpose.
If we do combine non-personal information with personal information the combined information will be treated as personal information for as long as it remains combined.
As is true of most websites, we gather some information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, browser type and language, Internet service provider (ISP), referring and exit pages, date/time stamp, and clickstream data.
We use this information to understand and analyze trends, to administer the site, to learn about user behavior on the site, and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. Rynfield Veterinary Hospital may use this information in our marketing and advertising services.
In some of our email messages, we use a "click-through URL" linked to content on the Rynfield Veterinary Hospital website. When customers click one of these URLs, they pass through a separate web server before arriving at the destination page on our website. We track this click-through data to help us determine interest in particular topics and measure the effectiveness of our customer communications. If you prefer not to be tracked in this way, you should not click text or graphic links in the email messages.
Pixel tags enable us to send email messages in a format customers can read, and they tell us whether mail has been opened. We may use this information to reduce or eliminate messages sent to customers.
At times Rynfield Veterinary Hospital may make certain personal information available to strategic partners that work with Rynfield Veterinary Hospital to provide products and services, or that help Rynfield Veterinary Hospital market to customers. Personal information will only be shared by Rynfield Veterinary Hospital to provide or improve our products, services and advertising; it will not be shared with third parties for their marketing purposes.
Rynfield Veterinary Hospital shares personal information with companies who provide services such as information processing, fulfilling customer orders, delivering products to you, managing and enhancing customer data, providing customer service, assessing your interest in our products and services, and conducting customer research or satisfaction surveys. These companies are obligated to protect your information and may be located wherever Rynfield Veterinary Hospital operates.
It may be necessary − by law, legal process, litigation, and/or requests from public and governmental authorities within or outside your country of residence − for Rynfield Veterinary Hospital to disclose your personal information. We may also disclose information about you if we determine that for purposes of national security, law enforcement, or other issues of public importance, disclosure is necessary or appropriate.
We may also disclose information about you if we determine that disclosure is reasonably necessary to enforce our terms and conditions or protect our operations or users. Additionally, in the event of a reorganisation, merger, or sale we may transfer any and all personal information we collect to the relevant third party.
Rynfield Veterinary Hospital takes precautions — including administrative, technical, and physical measures — to safeguard your personal information against loss, theft, and misuse, as well as against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.
Rynfield Veterinary Hospital online services such as the Rynfield Veterinary Hospital Online Vetshop use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption pages where vital personal information is collected. To make purchases from these services, you must use an SSL-enabled browser. Doing so protects the confidentiality of your personal information while it's transmitted over the Internet.
When you use some Rynfield Veterinary Hospital products, services, or post on a Rynfield Veterinary Hospital forum, or social networking service, the personal information you share is visible to other users and can be read, collected, or used by them. You are responsible for the personal information you choose to submit in these instances. For example, if you list your name and email address in a forum posting, that information is public. Please take care when using these features.
You can help ensure that your contact information and preferences are accurate, complete, and up to date by logging in to your account on Rynfield Veterinary Hospital's Online Vetshop page. For other personal information, we make good faith efforts to provide you with access so you can request that we correct the data if it is inaccurate or delete the data if Rynfield Veterinary Hospital is not required to retain it by law or for legitimate business purposes. We may decline to process requests that are unreasonably repetitive, require disproportionate technical effort, jeopardize the privacy of others, are extremely impractical, or for which access is not otherwise required by local law. Access, correction, or deletion requests can be made through contact with Rynfield Veterinary Hospital.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected the personal information of a child under 13 we will take steps to delete the information as soon as possible.
